A Fruit-Moon For Bugworld is the first setting designed for the Alboverse.
The Alboverse is a collection of weird and wondrous worlds, each one dreamt up by the slumbering Star-Headed Toddler-God.
Bugworld is a small planet entirely populated by Buglins: creatures very similar to the insects, arachnids and other arthropods of planet Earth.
A bizarre event has shaken things up on Bugworld: the mysterious appearance of a new object in the sky! A strange celestial body, strongly resembling an enormous fruit, has begun orbiting Bugworld.
As Buglin civilisation makes its first tentative steps into the space-age, factions are formed and rumours and conspiracy theories abound.
All the while, everybug is wondering:
Where did the Fruit-Moon come from and why?
What secrets does it hold?…
A Fruit-Moon For Bugworld is designed to be compatible with the tag-based, rules-light system ALBO. As such it contains a quick rules reference, as well as other ALBO-compatible information.
However, it is also designed to be system agnostic, meaning you can use this setting with other TTRPG systems.
A Fruit-Moon For Bugworld contains descriptions of both Bugworld and its Fruit-Moon, as well as the various factions and important locations. There are also several plot hooks, suggested scenarios and roll tables.
A 28 page black-and-white printed saddle-stitch zine. It’s A5 sized.
