#99: The Post Moves Home
Hello dear readers!
Another short issue this time, and the last one to come to you via Patreon!
Indeed, for the past fortnight my partner and I (but mostly my partner who is a star) have been tinkering away building a new website for Penflower Ink… which will also be this newsletter’s new home!
The Future of the Post: From Patreon to Blog!
Let’s face it, these posts have always been a bit on the long side and hardly conforming with what most people would catergorise as a newsletter. To my understanding those are supposed to be short and sweet updates and not several thousand words long musings.
No, I started out my adventures on the internet as a blogger, and I haven’t really changed.
So, the Penflower Post will continue as a blog on my new website.
There will be an RSS feed button, and I will be adding all current Patreon members to a mailing list, so you will all get an email whenever a new blog post is published.
All previous issues of the Post will remain here on Patreon as an archive, that will be linked to on the blog. Alas, all the preceding issues that were on Substack are lost to time, as I deleted my account with them (too many swastika profile pics over there for my liking).
All of this to say: The Penflower Post’s 100th issue will debut over on the new website (once it is live) and I will let you all know once it does!
Grand Opening of Graccoland Fantasy Theme Park!
In case you missed it, I finally published the completed Graccoland adventure setting last week. The setting comes with a trifold for GMs and a map leaflet for players to use as an in-game handout. You can find the adventure setting as a PWYW download on itchio.
If you do download the setting, please consider leaving it a review or recommending it to a friend!

In Other News: Asset Expansion & Video!
This month I also published a new Modular Character Sheet Asset Pack, as well as an art process video about making it. This latest expansion is Nature themed!

It feels great to be back making more things, as well as perhaps getting into a 2-videos-per-month routine. You can watch the video HERE, in case you missed it.
My plan is to make a printable version of the pack as soon as I can, so that I can put both on the new website (currently the digital asset pack is only on itchio).
After that, the next expansion will be Pirate-themed! Yar har, fiddle-dee-dee and so on.

I’ll also be starting work on September’s lot of monthly art assets which, as decreed by the results of the latest poll, will be more creatures! Hooray!
Cool Links to Share!
- JP Coovert draws some weird and wonderful magic items, suggested by his viewers!
- A new and excellent video essay by Lindsay Ellis on how the right-wing have tried to turn empathy into a sin.
- Verily Bitchie weighs in on a truly disastrous Doctor Who episode, which came across to many as anti-Palestine propaganda.
That’s all for this month!
As always, thank you so much for reading.
One last reminder that if you feel like supporting my work, you can buy something from my website or itchio, join my Patreon as a paying member, or commission me.
If none of the above are doable for you, please consider spreading the word about my work to your friends!
Until next time,
– Penflower
